Every time we get together to raise money for Missions the atmosphere is simply exhilarating. This event begins late in the afternoon and goes well into the late hours of the night. People often times enjoy it so much that most stay until the very end of this banquet. Our program usually consists of good music, a vast variety of food and other forms of diversion that are very inviting and are all for a good cause: to help the orphan children that less privileged than we are in so many ways. At this event we always provide the traditional Portuguese malassadas. We have been honored by the presence of brothers and sisters of so many different ethnic and cultural backgrounds: a wonderful group of Portuguese, Brazilians, Cape-Verdeans, North-Americans etc. get together in an effort to please the Father's heart.
